CHICAGO — Calgary Flames forward Fredrik Claesson, who is on injured reserve because of a concussion suffered in the Nov. 18 brawl with the New York Islanders, practiced Monday and was cleared to skate, coach Bob Hartley said.

Claesson will play Saturday night against the Anaheim Ducks.

Hartley said Claesson is getting a “good chance” of playing this weekend.

He has missed two games with a lower-body injury and will continue to do so through the end of the regular season.

The 30-year-old Claesson has two goals and three assists in 13 games this season.

He had five goals and five assists in 44 games last season.
